Yes, after a short break we are now back.
Thanks to all of you for the emails of encouragement, offers of help and suggestions. It's you, our readers, who have supported our decision to continue.
The most common suggestion was for us to go to a quarterly publication schedule. This will certainly relieve the time constraints of producing on a monthly basis. It is our hope to be able to continue in this manner and our goal to provide you with double the content from photographers and even more articles related to the fine art of nude photography.
This month we have four photographers, Jack Pitonak from California, a previous contributor; Renata Ratajczyk from Toronto; Philippe Baud from Kingston, Ontario; and Tom Cubbage from Oklahoma. In addition we have an opinion piece from a previous contributor, Don Murphy and an excellent article called African Sojourn from writer Jim Morgenstern, with links to others sites around the world that celebrate the African Nude. You going to enjoy his article and the photographic sites he has collected for you.
Everyone with memberships still in force will have access until your date of expiration. We will be ending our yearly memberships in favor of a per issue price of $9.95. This may be a bit more inconvenient for you, but I am more comfortable with this form of payment during this trial run of quarterly issues. You will be able to pay for each issue as you have in the past by choosing the "Current Issue" Selection on the order form. You can also FAX us or mail us the mail-in order form with your credit card number and we will automatically charge your account should you choose to be billed for the current issue and/or all upcoming issues. Contributors either in the form of articles, our new Short Take feature, or a photographer whose work is featured will continue to receive access to all issues in the past and future. So if you like what you have been seeing, consider submitting some of your work. The Short Takes feature will be for those of you just assembling a portfolio, but still proud enough of what you have done to date to share it with the rest of us. It will be like the featured photographers, but with fewer photographs. Thank you in advance for your contribution.
I want to especially thank Jim Morgenstern for his words of encouragement and his contributions to this and future articles. He will be a regular participant of really great, inspiring articles, which will help raise the quality of the magazine up one more notch.
