BAJA MARGARITA
 
In a blender or cocktail shaker mix together the following:
 
  • 4 parts of aņejo tequila
  • 3 parts of fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 2 parts of damiana liquor {preferably by "El Jeque"}
     
    Mix in a blender with plenty of crushed ice Introduce cocktail glass to a rim shot of lemony lime juice and dip in a dish with sea salt
    Pour and: "Salud!".
     
    Repeat above procedure. Repeat above procedure repeatedly.
     
    Unique to the peninsula of Baja California is this variation of Margarita for it's substitution of Cointreau with the native herb/extract from the often thought of as aphrodisiac Damiana plant.
