Mexicali
This city, located on the border of Mexico and California got
its name from combining the two words...MEXI-co and
CALI-fornia.
Mexicali is the state capital of Baja California. Known as "The
city that captures the sun" it has long, hot summers and short,
cold winters. It has an average rain precipitation of a little more
than 3 inches a year.
