Los Cabos

In the early 20th Century, Cabo San Lucas was still a fishing village. In 1927 a marine products company moved in creating jobs and attracting visitors. Investors and locals admired the city for its bustling activities. Hotels were built along the coast to accommodate the growing number of visitors this city received. Today the area known as Los Cabos is one of Mexico's top tourist destinations.

From Cabo San Lucas harbor, a glass bottom boat will take you to the popular landmark El Arco (The Arch), a rock formation at Land's End, where seals, sea lions and pelicans enjoy basking in the sun.

Millions of years of ocean water pounding into the rocks formed this impressive arch. The surrounding waters host hundreds of species of fish. During certain times of the year, low tide exposes an underground canyon below El Arco believed to be as deep as the wondrous Grand Canyon. The visit ends at nearby Playa del Amor or "Love Beach" where it's easy to relax, do some yoga or have a picnic.
